No cute picture today but thought I would update Annie’s fans on her new tricks.  I am also hoping by the time I finish this blog Annie will have settled down and gone to sleep for her nap this afternoon- right now she’s pretty mad at me.   She’s probably thinking, ”the nerve of my mom thinking I am tired after I rubbed my eyes and yawned twice!!”   Oh well – little does she realize that our will power is stronger that hers- at least for a little while. 

Two new tricks this week have emerged- first- she rolled over twice by herself.  When I write”by herself”, what I mean is that she had a little help.  While having tummy time and I propped up her arms and she leaned over and was on her back.  She was pretty pleased at herself, but hasn’t done it on her own without the arm propping since- so we’ll see if it was a fluke or actual rolling. 

Second- Scott was playing with her over the weekend and started clicking his tongue and she did it back to him.  She’s actually repeated this trick several times and although it’s not exactly the same noise- she’s pretty tickled with herself when she does it.  She’s continuing to giggle more and more- especially when I lean over her and tickle her with my hair.  I have had my hair pulled a few times and I might have to stop this soon if I want to keep my locks- that infant death grip- she just can’t let go!! 

Last cute thing before I go- last night she was taking a nap in her swing and Scott put her in it and she looked at him with a HUGE pout on her face- full bottom lip out and wrinkled brow, but no crying and kept this face for about five minutes and then closed her eyes and fell asleep.  I got the look on video,  but just re-played it and got very car-sick watching the swinging motion, I thought I would spare you.  OK she was down for a while and is now back up again. . . the battle continues.
